The property is located in the Spanish region of Murcia. Its coastline is commonly known as the Costa Calida (meaning warm coast) and lies in between the Costa Blanca to the North and the Costa de Almeria to the South. It is a growing region which boasts 320 days of sun per annum and the largest saltwater inland sea lagoon in Europe (Mar Menor or Little Sea). Murcia is also its capital and lies 40 minutes inland. The local airport is San Javier (12 mins drive from accomodation) and the local towns are Los Alcazares and Los Narejos. These lie on the Mar Menor which is a very gentle, warm sea ideal for children with gentle lapping tide and lovely Blue flags beaches.
The Accomodation
Our townhouse is situated in the picturesque municipality of Senorio de Roda and lies between the towns of San Javier, Los Alcazares and San Pedro del Pinatar, three of the larger towns on the Mar Menor coast.The development resides on the estate of the Marques of Urbina de la Quintana, a noble family stretching back to the 16th Century. The village of Roda itself has strict planning guidelines and this has led to a development that is both quaint and rustic yet maintains the highest modern standards.
The designers have styled the development on traditional, pueblo townhouses and have incorporated landscaped areas, beautiful private floral courtyards with fountains and many rustic features. We are confident that you will find this to be one of the most unique village developments in Spain and is great for both family holidays and for the avid golfer.
